Job Description

SAN Storage Administrator

HDFC Group

Job Descriptions:

HDFC Group is looking for an experienced SAN Storage Administrator to manage and support enterprise storage and SAN infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy and configure SAN hardware and software including storage arrays, Fiber Channel Switches, and HBAs.
Manage zoning, LUN provisioning, and access control in SAN environments.
Work with Director-class switches such as Brocade DCX X6-8, DCX7-8, and FCIP 7840.
Administer enterprise storage arrays such as Hitachi and NetApp.
Support Linux, Windows, and VMware virtualized environments.
Manage SAN networking protocols including Fiber Channel (FCI), iSCSI, FCIP, and multipathing.
Troubleshoot complex SAN-related issues and act as the highest escalation point for storage problems.
Monitor and maintain SAN infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in SAN and Storage Administration.
Strong expertise in Brocade SAN switches and Fiber Channel technologies.
Experience with Hitachi and NetApp storage arrays.
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as Brocade Certified Fabric Professional or similar SAN Certifications.
