Job Description

Full time / Part-time Consultant

Experience: Post-MD/DNB Radiology; fetal imaging experience preferred

We are a well known imaging centre providing high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services across obstetric, gynaecological, breast, and fertility imaging along with cross-sectional and radiography reporting. We are looking for a clinically strong, patient-centred radiologist who is comfortable working in a specialised outpatient women’s imaging setup.

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform and report obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations, including early pregnancy scans, NT scans, anomaly scans, growth scans, Doppler studies, pelvic scans, infertility work-up, follicular monitoring, and HSG-related imaging where applicable.
  • Perform breast ultrasound and independently evaluate breast complaints, including appropriate BI-RADS categorisation and recommendations for follow-up, biopsy, or further imaging.
  • Perform ultrasound-guided breast procedures such as FNAC and trucut biopsy, or be willing to undergo structured training.
  • Report routine radiography studies, including chest, musculoskeletal, spine, abdomen, and emergency radiographs, in line with reporting standards.
  • Report cross-sectional imaging studies, including CT and MRI, based on experience, credentialing, and allocated workflow.
  • Handle a mixed modality reporting workflow as required by the centre, with appropriate prioritisation of urgent and clinically significant findings.
  • Maintain clear, clinically useful reports with appropriate recommendations and timely escalation of urgent findings.
  • Participate in clinical quality review, peer feedback, and reporting standardisation processes.

Preferred Profile

  • MD/DNB Radiology with valid KMC registration.
  • Comfortable with a mixed radiology workflow including ultrasound, radiography, CT, and MRI reporting.
  • Strong interest or experience in obstetric, gynaecological, fertility, and breast imaging.
  • FMF NT certification is preferred for candidates undertaking NT scans.
  • Experience with breast interventions, complex CT/MRI reporting, and emergency radiography is an advantage.
  • Clear communication, professional bedside manner, and confidence in handling anxious patients are essential.
  • Willingness to work within a quality-led, protocol-driven practice with defined reporting and escalation standards.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work in a specialised practice with a strong patient base.
  • Exposure to fertility imaging, advanced breast imaging, image-guided procedures, and evolving women’s health services.
  • Structured international-level reporting systems, defined clinical workflows, and support for quality-led practice with exposure to international case.
  • Scope for long-term clinical growth, procedural training, and leadership within the centre.

Good to have - experience in obstetric/gynaecological and breast imaging, FMF status if applicable, and procedural experience.
